All the best, Donna!

From all of us here at Lustbites who've worked with the lovely Donna Condon at Virgin Books, this is a heartfelt thank you and a sorry-to-see-you-go message...

You've been a wonderful help for all of us, making sure the birth of all our books was as painless as possible. A lovely, friendly editorial assistant that we all have appreciated enormously. We know that you'll be sadly missed, and a hard act to follow.

(We'd like to thank you too for sorting out all our competition prizes - without you lustbites wouldn't be so shiny and full of promise! )

We'd like to wish you all the best of luck for the future, and here's a hand-picked bunch of flowers from Kristina Lloyd's garden.

...entire cast of Lustbites join in singing 'For she's a jolly good fellow...'

Love from all of us xxx

PS - Good luck in the Edinburgh marathon!

Damn! The next assistant editor might not be so patient about reminders and chasing up... Or as amusing and witty in emails... Sigh... But all the best for your new job, and I'm sure the popping of champagne corks will drown out the woeful whimpers of us Lust Biters. You've been fabulous.

Good luck in your new job, Donna and thanks for all your patience with my many, many blue pen corrections.

You will be sorely missed, and I may have to push myself to try and write a different kind of book one of these days, so we can work together again. ;)

Love

Oh Donna, no Donna, pleaSE don't go Donna...
Okay, I know, you're going, and I'll try to be brave. But I'm really going to miss your friendly, helpful, encouraging, professional emails. And I'm happy for you, really I am, because I know you must be excited about your new gig. Cheers, Donna! And thank you thank you thank you for all you've done for me, and for Lust Bites.

GOOD LUCK Donna! I'll miss working with you, but I am happy for you and I know you'll do fabulously well. Don't forget to stop by sometime and let us know how things are going.
And that dinner invite whenever you find yourself in Texas still stands!
*hugs* :)

Bye Donna, thanks for all your help, dished up with wit and humor-especially for sorting out the most recent back cover blurb when I called my hero JAKE all the way through and his name is JAY!!

Thanks so much for the wonderful post and the lovely words (and, of course, the beautiful flowers, Kristina!).

I’ve had a brilliant time working on the ‘naughty’ books at Virgin Books...and sometimes an even better time feeding off the reaction of people when I tell them what I do for a living! Ah, those days are over though as of next week...boo.

I’ve learnt a huge amount here, especially about the land of the erotic, which will really stand to me and, though I’m excited about the fact that I’m moving on and up, I’m sad to close this chapter.

Hope you all keep up the great writing and keep all your readers ‘satisfied’!;) I’ll definitely pop in here soon to see how things are going, though if you don’t here a tinkle from me post-May 27th you know that it’s been a case of Marathon-1, Donna-0!!

Hoping that our paths cross once again in the future,

Donna xxx
